The GRECALE BIOPASS project represents a significant step toward sustainable innovation in the textile sector, with the goal of developing new high-performance materials capable of delivering advanced functionality without compromising the environment. This ambitious initiative involves several organizations from the Lombardy region, with a special focus on creating innovative, ecosystem-friendly solutions that can be concretely applied in the fashion and technical textile industries.

To achieve its ambitious objectives, GRECALE BIOPASS brings together diverse expertise, connecting the academic world, with the participation of the Universities of Milan and Bergamo, and the business world, involving major companies such as Radici Yarn and small and medium-sized enterprises including:

The project is coordinated by G.P.S. Tech, a long-standing partner of Framis, with the support of Impresa Lab S.R.L.

In particular, Framis coordinates the first strategic objective of the project, dedicated to the development of bio-based thermoelastomers.
