Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH is the trade fair arm of Messe Frankfurt, one of the world’s largest organisers of trade fairs, congresses and events with its own exhibition grounds. The company is owned by the City of Frankfurt and the State of Hesse and employs around 2,500 people at some thirty locations worldwide. For the technical textiles industry its leading event is Techtextil, the international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, held every two years in Frankfurt am Main and covering twelve application areas, from mobility and medical textiles to protective clothing and sustainable materials. Techtextil runs alongside Texprocess for textile processing technology, and the group also stages Heimtextil for home and contract textiles and a series of Techtextil editions in North America and Asia.
