American Textile Machinery Association

Founded in 1933, the American Textile Machinery Association is the only U.S. professional trade association devoted solely to the advancement of textile machinery, parts, and accessories in the textile industry. ATMA® is headquartered in metropolitan Washington, D.C., where day-to-day operations are provided by professionals of long-term tenure.

United States Industrial Fabrics Institute (USIFI)

The United States Industrial Fabrics Institute (USIFI) is a coalition of United States specialty fabric manufacturers and users. USIFI develops and hosts the Outlook Conference in partnership with the Narrow Fabrics Institute (NFI). It monitors and advocates for member positions in both legislative and regulatory issues in international trade, and hosts an annual lobby day event in Washington, D.C.

Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI)

Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) being one of the leading industry chambers of the textile and clothing sector of India, represents the major leading regional & industry associations and 18 major corporate members, thus, covering the entire textile value chain from farm to garments & made-ups and the textile machinery industry.

Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA)

The Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA) is the only association of the technical textile industry in the country. Formation of ITTA was facilitated by the office of the textile commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. ITTA membership represents the entire technical textile value chain from raw material to finished goods producers, machinery manufacturers, converters, centers of excellence, and R&D institutes. At present ITTA has over 300 members.

Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT)

ACIMIT (the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers) is a private non-profit-making body and its main purpose consists in promoting the Italian textile machinery sector and in supporting its activity, mainly abroad, through the most updated and innovative promotional means, constantly improved during its 70 years of life.

Comité Européen des Constructeurs de Machines Textiles (CEMATEX)

CEMATEX (Le Comité Européen des Constructeurs de Machines Textiles) is an organisation comprising 9 national European textile machinery associations in the free market economy. CEMATEX is the owner of ITMA, the world’s largest international textile machinery exhibition.

European Apparel and Textile Confederation (EURATEX) 

EURATEX is the European Apparel and Textile Confederation, representing the interests of the European textile and clothing industry at the level of the EU institutions. Group Textile Machinery (GTM)

Group Textile Machinery was founded in 1951. It represents the Dutch companies that construct, develop and/or manufacture machines and accessories for the textile industry worldwide. GTM is a member of CEMATEX, the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers.

Swiss Textile Machinery Association

The Swiss Textile Machinery Association is the representative body for Switzerland’s producers of textile equipment, systems, and services. Currently, 44 companies are affiliated, including manufacturers of machines and components, and service providers, for the textile industry. The companies offer solutions covering the entire textile value chain, from spinning to weaving, knitting, finishing, embroidery, and quality control.

Symatex – Belgian Textile Machinery Association

The machinery industry is the fastest growing industrial sector measured by employment in Belgium. The last 5 years an annual growth rate of 4.5% was achieved and the Belgian machinery industry was able to increase its EU market share with 10%. Since 2010, investments have picked up again and Belgian machinery companies are transforming themselves to accelerate their product development rate and flexibility.

We are made up of the leading Swedish companies within textile technology, automation and production processes. The expertise of our members ranges from advanced systems for yarn fault detection and tension monitoring, to yarn feeding technology for weaving, automated sewing production lines, cutting machines, embroidery technology, effective material handling systems, spray application system for fabric finishing and much more.

UCMTF – French Textile Equipment Manufacturers

UCMTF is the trade association grouping the French Textile Equipment Manufacturers. UCMTF’s members are particularly strong in long fibre spinning (wool, acrylic …), yarn twisting and control (including technical yarns), space-dyeing, heat setting for carpet yarns, carpet systems, dyeing, and finishing, felts and belts for finishing processes, nonwovens, air conditioning of textile plants, and recycling processes of textile materials.

VDMA Textile Machinery

The VDMA Textile Machinery represents a powerful branch of German mechanical engineering. About 120 member companies, ranging from spinning to finishing, many of them world market leaders, are mostly medium-sized firms and represent around 90 percent of the total volume of the industry.
