Nonwovens and Technical Textiles
All Freudenberg Performance Materials products are based on one foundation: first-class materials expertise.
We specifically refine our nonwovens and technical textiles, for example by bonding, coating, laminating or other highly technical processes, in order to achieve the required functionality. Our raw materials are predominantly based on synthetic polymers or fibers such as polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA) and viscose. We use recycled chips, flakes and fibers for a large proportion of our products.
Sustainability and Circularity
At Freudenberg Performance Materials, sustainability is integrated into how we develop materials, optimize processes, and collaborate with our customers. Freudenberg Performance Materials has defined a long-term target of achieving carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2045.
