A Breakthrough in Thermoplastic Composites: Faster Consolidation for Complex Parts

14 May 2026  |
We introduce a highly drapable, self-preforming multilayer hybrid fabric range designed for the rapid consolidation of complex composite parts. Combining commingled thermoplastic yarns with glass or carbon reinforcement fibers, this solution delivers areal weights of up to 3 kg/m², enabling fewer plies, a shape‑memory effect and excellent deformability for complex 3D geometries.

Compatible with vacuum bag molding and advanced heat & cool systems, these hybrid fabrics enable high-quality composite parts with cycle times under 10 minutes, while complementary multilayer dry fabrics for RTM or infusion offer similar preforming benefits.
