About the Company
Güth & Wolf was founded by Konrad Güth and Wilhelm Wolf in 1887 as a tape and webbing weaving enterprise. The company remains in family hands today. In our three plants in Gütersloh and Friesoythe, we produce over one million meters of inelastic textile narrow fabrics every day from cellulose-based and synthetic fibres. Over 330 qualified employees are working every day to satisfy our customers’ wishes.
Narrow Fabrics and Braids
Güth & Wolf produces over one million meters of textile narrow fabrics every day using cellulose-based and synthetic fibres, in widths ranging from 3 mm to 800 mm. We use around 200 different yarn types, particularly high-strength yarns like Kevlar®, Vectran® and Dyneema®. Woven textile narrow fabrics are created through the crossing of warp and weft thread systems. Flexible flat or round braids are produced by crossing longitudinal threads at angles greater or less than 45°.
Commitment to Sustainability
