Worn Again Technologies is a UK company developing a closed-loop chemical recycling technology for textiles. Its registered office is in Nottingham.
Textile-to-fibre recycling
The process accepts polycotton blends and separates out elastane and acrylics. The cellulose fraction is converted into feedstock for lyocell or viscose fibres, while the polyester fraction is recovered as recycled PET for new polyester fibres.
Accelerator plant
In March 2026 Worn Again started up its Textile-to-Fibre Accelerator plant in Winterthur, Switzerland, as the next step towards commercialising the process.
