Wolkat Group is a Dutch circular textile processor headquartered in Tilburg. The company collects used clothing and textiles and sorts and processes them into new raw materials.
Collection and sorting
Wolkat works with municipalities, brands and retailers to collect post-consumer textiles. According to the company, around half of the collected garments are suitable for reuse and resale.
Recycled yarns and fabrics
Textiles that cannot be reused are processed into new yarns, fabrics, clothing and other textiles. Wolkat sorts the material by colour, so that no new dyes need to be added. Partners mentioned by the company include Nike, Filippa K and HEMA.
