The Dutch national organisation for applied scientific research. In textiles its work is concentrated in circular and biobased materials: thermochemical and solvent-based recycling of mixed post-consumer textile waste into chemical building blocks, and biorefinery routes that turn straw, seaweed and other biomass into cellulose fibres. Coordinates and participates in EU textile projects such as HEREWEAR on local, circular, biobased garment production.
