SGL Carbon is a technology-based company and a global leader in the development and manufacture of carbon-based solutions. SGL Carbon was founded in 1992, but our roots reach back much further. In total, we have more than 100 years’ experience in developing and manufacturing carbon-based materials and products.
With around 3,800 employees at 28 sites in Europe, North America and Asia, we generated sales of 850 million euros in fiscal 2025.
Fiber Composites and Textile Materials
Our portfolio includes carbon, glass, flax, and aramid fibers, from which we produce high-quality textile structures such as prepregs, woven fabrics, nonwovens, and pre-fabricated stacks. Our products are manufactured at our German sites in Meitingen, Wackersdorf, and Willich. Our SIGRATEX® textile materials make composites extremely light, stiff, and strong.
