Sefar AG is a Swiss manufacturer of precision fabrics woven from monofilament yarns. Its mesh and filter fabrics are woven to defined aperture and thickness tolerances in polyester, polyamide and other polymers, and are used wherever a fabric has to separate, meter or transfer with a controlled geometry. The two main fields are filtration and separation, from food and beverage to chemicals, pharmaceuticals and water treatment, and screen printing media for graphics, textiles, electronics and solar. Alongside roll goods Sefar supplies cut parts, filter bags, sieves, discs and complete filter elements. Weaving mills in Switzerland, Romania, Mexico and Thailand supply sales companies in some thirty countries.
