Sweden’s state-owned independent research institute and innovation partner, with a textiles unit in Boras covering the whole textile value chain. Develops textile fibres and materials through wet and melt spinning of bio-based and recycled polymers, runs a textile fibre development test bed and viscose pilot facilities, and works on mechanical, chemical and thermomechanical textile recycling. Offers more than 400 textile testing methods and is the OEKO-TEX institute for Sweden and Norway.
