Develops polymer materials, processes and technologies from lab to pilot scale, with a dedicated Fiber Technology group. Produces sustainable fibres, films and nonwovens by solution and melt spinning, working with cellulose (viscose and lyocell), lignin and polylactide, recyclable synthetic polymers and new carbon fibre precursors. Related work covers geotextiles and nonwovens from recycled plastics and circular value creation in the textile industry.
