The Faserinstitut Bremen e.V. (FIBRE) is a successful research institute for the development of high performance composites, production technologies, fiber development, quality assurance as well as material development and characterization. Founded in 1969, it is a non-profit scientific institute specialised in fibre-reinforced plastic composites and in synthetic and natural fibres for technical textiles.
