Circulose AB is a Swedish company that recycles cotton textiles into a raw material for new fibres. Its product, CIRCULOSE, is made from 100% recycled cotton textiles.
Textile-to-textile recycling
CIRCULOSE is designed to be used by fibre producers in existing production processes, so that recycled content can be brought into new garments. The company reports that material made with CIRCULOSE is already on sale through fashion brands including H&M, Reformation and Mango.
Ortviken plant
Production takes place at the Ortviken plant in Sundsvall, which the company describes as the first commercial-scale chemical textile-to-textile recycling facility. Circulose announced the restart of commercial-scale production at Ortviken in February 2026.
