Ghent University’s textile research, education and testing centre, working on fibre and polymer technology, material and process modelling, functional textiles and sustainability across the textile value chain. Research topics include smart textiles, electrospinning and nanofibres, and textile composites. Also operates ISO 17025-accredited service labs for testing, classification and certification, including ERCAT, the European Research Centre for Artificial Turf.
