Dry filtration media separate solid particles from air streams to reduce dust and particulate emissions to protect employees and the environment. Oversized solids in the air streams get caught by a filter medium to reduce the contamination of the air stream. Depending on the thickness of the dry filtration medium, air streams might still contain solid particles.
